As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth service, happy customers, and a well-supported team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front in a busy hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the General Manager with daily operations
* Leading shifts and supervising the team during service
* Delivering excellent customer service at all times
* Training, motivating, and supporting team members
* Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
* Managing stock levels, deliveries, and wastage control
* Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
* Assisting with rotas, staffing levels, and labour control
* Opening and closing the restaurant when required
* Leading the restaurant team in the absence of the general manger for extended periods of time
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
* A mature and driven individual who shows initiative
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A calm, organised approach under pressure
* Passion for food, service, and team development
* Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude
* Good understanding of food safety and compliance (training provided if needed)

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
