What You’ll Do Day To Day
* Prepare contracts for new employees and process contractual changes for current staff
* Oversee new starter onboarding and colleague offboarding, ensuring all documentation is completed
* Conduct and process Right to Work and DBS checks in line with legal requirements
* Manage the People Services mailbox, responding to queries or redirecting as appropriate
* Maintain and regularly update the organisational structure
* Produce accurate daily and weekly HR reports
* Ensure all HR processing & document storage complies with audit and compliance standards
* Input new starter data into the HR and payroll systems within required deadlines
* Respond to and complete employment reference requests
* Support the wider People team with administrative tasks and projects
* Monitor and control vacancy requests
* Oversee and verify all driving licence checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy
Helpful Skills And Qualifications

* Previous experience in an administrative role (HR admin experience is desirable)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
* Excellent written communication skills, including drafting formal correspondence
* Accurate typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* A customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
* Professional telephone manner and confidence in dealing with queries
* Basic understanding of employment law related to contracts, salaries, and right to work (desirable)
* Experience using HR or payroll systems (desirable)
