Job Description:
We are seeking a Medical Writer (Remote UK/Hybrid possible) for an innovative, growing healthcare consulting firm. Role scope includes:
* Drafting, revising, and finalizing scientific materials such as abstracts, posters, slide decks, tables, figures, and data visualizations.
* Communicating complex information clearly and concisely.
* Evaluating source documents and developing appropriate visual materials.
* Providing editing, proofreading, and quality control for other researchers and writers.
* Collaborating with internal and client teams to ensure scientific accuracy.
* Participating remotely in client meetings as needed.
* Incorporating reviewer and author comments to improve documents.
* Conducting online literature searches and summarizing findings.
* Managing journal and abstract submissions according to guidelines.
* Contributing to internal thought leadership projects.
Qualifications:
* MSc or higher in life sciences, public health, or health economics.
* At least 2 years of experience in technical scientific writing.
* Strong attention to detail, clarity, and accuracy.
* Effective communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience with pharmaceutical, public health, RWE, epidemiology, or HEOR writing is preferred.
