Our client is a UK market leader within the commercial catering sector.
Due to exciting growth they are looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within their hospitality across sector across the Midlands and the North.
£38-42k base salary with commission to a £55k Year 1 + car/car allowance £5k levelling so a Year 1 £60 k OTE package
This role is a Remote position but will need someone living in on patch with plenty of client meetings into the hotel sector throughout the Midlands and the North of England. Typically 5-10 client visit of a F2f basis weekly so a fast-paced role with lots of client facetime. Will require someone organised with good diary management used to planning on a week-week basis.
Great mentor, collaborative culture and a great team and a balance of 70% New Business activities and 30% Account Management. Will be familiar with contract management, negotiation, pricing documentation. New business focus will be targeting clients with a £50k annual spend and an annual target all-in of circa £750-900k to give a levelling overview.
This role is a new business focus on driving revenue across restaurants, pubs, leisure centres, NHS so will encompass both private and public sector. Ideal candidate would have experience in either selling into the hospitality industry or selling commercial catering products.
Role is to open doors and also to increase spend within these key clients and will need someone with a proven track record of maximising relationships and spend, becoming a main supplier and securing mutually beneficial working relationships. An empathetic and consultative approach with strong commercial acumen is key here.
Travel nationwide across the Midlands and the North of England, large territory, decent opportunities to maximise whilst building your new business pipeline. As a UK market leader any lapsed clients from over a year count as new business.
Territory is from the Midlands up to Scotland from North Wales to Suffolk with the strongest existing territories of the Midlands and the Liverpool/Manchester and Chester region.
