Nissan Formula E Team has been a competitive force in motorsport and the FIA Formula E World Championship for many years.
Based in Viry-Châtillon, in the Paris area (France), we are looking for a Project Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing development.
As a Project Support Engineer in Formula E, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engineering, operational, and performance projects across the team. You will ensure that activities are well-coordinated, documented, and delivered on time, working closely with race engineers, performance engineers, design, operations, and the customer team. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of operating in the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of international motorsport.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support
* Assist in planning, tracking, and executing engineering and operational projects within the Formula E program (vehicle development, race operations, logistics, and infrastructure).
* Ensure deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and met.
* Coordinate communication between engineering, operations, suppliers, development teams, race teams, and customer teams.
Technical Documentation & Follow-Up
* Support engineers by maintaining project documentation, technical specifications, risk registers, and change logs.
* Monitor the status of actions, deliverables, and open points to ensure timely resolution.
* Prepare concise reports and presentations for engineers, management, customer teams, and external stakeholders.
Operational Support
* Contribute to pre-event and post-event preparations, including equipment readiness, technical documentation, and logistics planning.
* Provide support for operational follow-up, including issue tracking and coordination of corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with procurement, suppliers, development teams, race teams, and customer teams to ensure components and solutions meet project requirements.
* Support compliance with FIA technical regulations and sustainability requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
* Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, or related field.
* Previous experience in motorsport is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and technical documentation.
* Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., CATIA, MATLAB, Python, or similar) is desirable, but the focus is on coordination rather than in-depth data analysis.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across diverse teams and with customer-facing stakeholders.
Each application will be carefully reviewed to give every candidate the attention they deserve. Feedback is expected to be shared during November.
