What You’ll Do
* Maintain and prepare hospitality & catering facilities used for student training and events (kitchens, dining rooms, cafés).
* Ensure equipment and stock are clean, safe, and ready for use; carry out routine maintenance / basic cleaning / setup tasks.
* Support practical delivery of hospitality and catering courses — preparing working stations, ingredients, materials, and clearing down afterwards.
* Help set up and support college events, functions, open days — liaising with academic staff, being proactive and organised.
* Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times — ensuring compliance with college policies and relevant regulations.
What You’ll Bring
* Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, catering-kitchen or facilities maintenance (ideally in a commercial / educational / catering setting).
* Practical, hands-on approach to work; reliability and ability to prioritise tasks under a rota system.
* Good organisation skills, attention to detail, and awareness of hygiene & safety standards.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills — able to work with students, staff and possibly external contractors / suppliers.
* Flexibility and willingness to adapt hours/shifts when needed; a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
