AES Smart, a leader in solar solutions, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Field Engineer to manage the technical aspects and ongoing support of our commercial and domestic solar installations across the UK. This role requires a proactive engineer ready to handle both preventive and reactive maintenance, ensuring the optimal operation of our solar installations. Key Responsibilities: Project Monitoring & Reporting: Continuously monitor and report on the performance of all commercial solar projects, ensuring each report aligns with the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) requirements. Preventive & Reactive Maintenance: Plan and execute maintenance tasks, prioritizing efficient scheduling and completion of preventive and reactive work across multiple sites. Technical Support & Fault-Finding: Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct detailed fault-finding, and support repairs on both commercial and domestic solar installations. Diary Management: Autonomously manage your work diary, balancing project commitments and prioritizing site visits based on operational needs. Travel & Flexibility: Travel across the UK, responding to maintenance needs with flexibility. Be prepared for short-notice travel, including occasional overnight stays. Requirements: Proven experience in solar operations and maintenance, with a strong technical understanding of commercial and domestic solar systems. Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to work independently, manage a flexible diary, and prioritize workloads to meet project goals. Comfortable with nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays as required.
