Specialty Doctor in Trauma and Orthopaedics The Trauma & Orthopaedic department are looking for a Specialty Doctor with at least 4 years experience, the ability to operate independently and confidently manage basic trauma cases to join their team at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
The post holder will join an extensive team of Consultant, speciality and Trust doctors in the Orthopaedic department. The work will involve working with the consultants in a variety of sub‑specialities on a rotational basis managing the inpatient and emergency trauma workload. Contribution to the on‑call rota would be 1 in 8, weekdays and weekends.
The department offers plenty of scope for teaching, research, and audit, as per the applicant's interests and needs. There will be adequate support towards furthering educational and career needs of the successful candidate.
Predominantly based at East Surrey Hospital, the successful candidate will be required to work across all hospital sites, which include services at Crawley and Horsham.
