The ideal candidate will lead business development activities, drive sales, and play a key role in generating new business, as well as managing marketing and customer service activities.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the UK market;
* Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK and achieve operational objectives;
* Identify opportunities from marketing leads, and manage local business partners;
* Report market information to headquarters promptly;
* Coordinate with other departments to establish operational processes in the UK;
* Build brand awareness of the company and its solutions in the UK;
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills:
* At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD-related products;
* BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
* Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail and operational excellence;
* Energetic with motivation to find new business opportunities quickly;
* Familiarity with the European business model for imported products;
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German is preferred.
