Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Stores Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth receiving of our goods in area by performing various tasks related to the receiving goods in, maintaining strict organisational processes of the stores area and kitting when required.
Responsibilities
* Receive, store and issue material
* Kit in accordance with Production schedule in a timely manner
* Ensure 123 Insight stock data is accurate
* Operate a Cycle Counting system
* Collect KPI,s as agreed with management
* Maintain a clean safe working environment.
* Dispatch finished goods and maintain records.
* Packing products to works instructions and diagrams.
* Pack finished products for shipping or storage, ensuring proper labelling and handling.
* Any other task reasonably requested within the production department.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an electronic stores environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with stacker truck operation is advantageous; certification may be required.
* Computer literacy to an appropriate standard.
* Knowledge of MRP systems is beneficial for efficient inventory management.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control processes.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift.
* Competence in picking and packing procedures to meet order fulfilment standards.
* A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a fast-paced environment is essential.
* Numerate, methodical, accurate and organised.
