What You Will Do
* Design and deliver software architecture for electric vehicle charging, including all related artifacts, using UML and model-based engineering methodologies.
* Communicate architectural concepts to the development team, ensuring software compliance with functional, quality, and security standards.
* Support the resolution of charging software architecture issues and collaborate across teams to develop robust software requirements.
* Utilise Embedded Coder and MISRA C for production code generation, ensuring high-quality software output.
* Validate control code through software validation tools and in the HIL environment, guaranteeing software reliability and efficiency.
* Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing to bring in best practices and innovative solutions.
What You Will Bring
* Solid understanding of Embedded Coder and MISRA C for production code generation.
* Proven experience as a Software Architect within the automotive domain, with knowledge of embedded systems and ASPICE process.
* Expertise in application software design in Autosar architecture and proficiency in UML and model-based engineering.
* Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modelling, translating complex requirements into functional software.
* Degree in Software, Controls, or related field; higher degrees preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and team collaboration abilities.

Based at Gaydon with a hybrid working model.
