An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated HR/OD professional to join our team to support the delivery of single managed services across the Bristol NHS Group. This is a great challenge for the right candidate to make a tangible and lasting contribution to the development and stability of the implementation of this programme of work across the city aligned to the delivery of the Joint Clinical Strategy.
Main duties of the job
1.1To work across the hospital group to deliver OD transitional programmes of work aligned to the Single Managed Services integration plan
1.2Take responsibility and accountability for allocated SMS programmes across the hospital group
1.3Utilise OD expertise to provide specialist knowledge to enable and progress and deliver transition of services and teams.
1.4Deliver against the OD outline programme a range of diagnostics and interventions with allocated SMS teams – ensuring flexibility to meet the needs and challenges that may arise
1.5Deploy engagement strategies to work with teams to support them through change
1.6Apply change management theory and practise to maximise a positive approach to transition of teams/services
1.7Take responsibility for evaluating the impact of interventions
1.8In line with governance and reporting, the role takes accountability for providing updates on progress assessing and reporting on risks for their areas of work
1.9Where appropriate design and deliver tailored OD interventions
1.10Establish effective partnerships across the SMS programme collaboration and communication are a key focus of this role bringing confidence and expert assessment to achieve positive outcomes for teams and colleague engagement

* • Extensive experience within Human Resources and OD(E)
* • Recent experience supporting or delivering team building events
* • Recent experience and involvement in staff engagement projects (E)
* • Evidence of continuing professional development (E)
* • Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement (E)
* • Project management skills and ability to see projects through to completion
* • Ability to influence and persuade, adapting personal style to meet different situations (E)
* • Confident in presenting to groups at all levels and disciplines (E)
* • Good organisational and problem-solving skills (E)
* • Knowledge of the principles and theories of change management, engagement, teamwork and leadership (E )
* • Coaching or mentoring qualification
