Job Type: 6 months initial contract
Rate: £450-£550/day
Overview
I have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) with a strong background in Civils and drainage to join a major rail client. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Civil Engineering and drainage works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution of critical rail infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the delivery of Civil Engineering and drainage works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Be a leader in ensuring Health & Safety standards are met.
Requirements
* Previously held the CRE title within a Civils role.
* Design and installation experience in Civils (Drainage).
* Background in Contracting and Civil Engineering.
* Ability to manage and direct site staff.
* Knowledge of railway infrastructure work.
* Familiarity with CDM 2015 regulations.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Review technical plans, drawings and materials to confirm they are correct.
