Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded Digital Marketing Specialist to support the company strategic expansion across UK and international markets.
This is not a passive marketing role. It is a hands-on, performance-driven position responsible for strengthening brand authority, supporting pipeline growth, and translating complex engineering capability into compelling market-facing content.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work across digital strategy, content development, website optimisation, campaign execution, events, and stakeholder communications ensuring marketing activity directly supports commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Digital & Campaign Delivery
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives.
Support export market positioning and international campaign activity.
Contribute to product launch strategies and capability announcements.
Track and report campaign performance, engagement metrics and marketing contribution to pipeline growth.
Website, SEO & Performance Optimisation
Manage and develop website content, ensuring strong SEO performance.
Optimise landing pages for engagement and conversion.
Monitor analytics and continuously improve digital performance.
Support ongoing web development projects and content expansion.
Technical & Thought Leadership Content
Translate complex aerospace and defence engineering concepts into accessible, compelling content.
Produce high-quality written, visual and video content for web, social and PR.
Support press releases and stakeholder communications.
Social & Industry Engagement
Lead LinkedIn strategy and professional audience engagement.
Maintain consistent, credible brand positioning across all channels.
Events & Industry Positioning
Support planning and execution of exhibitions, trade shows and strategic events.
Develop pre- and post-event campaign content to maximise ROI.
Align messaging with priority events and defence engagement activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, leadership and external partners.
Manage agencies, freelancers and suppliers where required.
Maintain strict brand consistency and messaging discipline.
Skills and Experience:
Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC level).
3-5 years experience in a marketing role, ideally within aerospace, defence, engineering or other regulated sectors.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO and content strategy.
Experience with website CMS platforms and performance analytics.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot is desirable.
Experience supporting B2B or defence-sector campaigns preferred.
Strong ability to translate technical subject matter into strategic marketing content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable operating within a performance-driven, engineering-led environment.
