Technical Project Manager
Location: Central London - 5 days in the office onsite

Salary: Neg up to 70,000- £90,000 DOE

This successful SME is looking to strengthen its research and development team by hiring a Technical Project Manager to support and drive key projects.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Drive project success by monitoring progress across multiple technical initiatives and keeping teams on track.
• Prioritise and adapt as circumstances change, ensuring the most important tasks are tackled first.
• Develop and maintain roadmaps that guide the team and align with business goals.
• Maximise efficiency by ensuring resources are used effectively and projects are delivered on time.
• Implement and refine processes, making adjustments to keep workflows smooth and productive.
• Identify risks and opportunities, applying business awareness to protect and enhance project outcomes.
• Keep the team focused and aligned, using your structured approach to bring clarity and direction.
• Regularly review and improve workflows, processes, and resource allocation.
• Document and report progress clearly, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
• Champion quality and excellence, inspiring the team to deliver their best work every day.
Skills
• Over 5 years of experience in within a technical project manager role, with experience of complex technical projects
Work closely with engineering teams on a daily basis, understanding their workflows, challenges, and technical considerations.
Have prior experience as a software developer or engineer, providing a strong technical foundation and familiarity with software development• Educational to BSc level in a Technical, Engineering or related subject
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience guiding and mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong understanding of IT software and infrastructure
• Database experience (SQL Server, Oracle or equivalent)
• Experience in version control systems (PlasticSCM, Git, Hg, or other) and project management tools (such as YouTrack) is desired, but not essential.
