Temporary Works Coordinator
Location: Cumbria (CA20)
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join a major new nuclear infrastructure project in Cumbria as part of a secure 9-year framework. This is an opportunity to make a real impact from the very beginning of a long-term programme, working alongside industry-leading engineering, design and construction teams to deliver critical infrastructure within the UK nuclear sector.
This position would suit a Temporary Works Coordinator, Temporary Works Designer or experienced Temporary Works Supervisor with a strong civil engineering background and practical knowledge of BS5975.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate Temporary Works schemes alongside Permanent Works designs
Review and prepare Temporary Works Design Briefs in accordance with BS5975
Manage internal and external Temporary Works Designers
Liaise with Permanent Works Designers regarding loads, actions and interfaces
Ensure Temporary Works procedures are implemented and maintained on site
Inspect Temporary Works installations and authorise works for use
Support and mentor Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS)
Ensure subcontractors comply with Temporary Works procedures
Deliver training and guidance on Temporary Works processes and standards
Keep up to date with industry standards and best practice
In return you'll receive a salary up to £60,000 - £70,000 DOE, £5,750 annual car allowance, permanent position, day shifts working 40 hours per week, long-term job security on a 9-year framework, and excellent opportunities for career development and professional growth within the nuclear sector.
