1801 - Therapy Assistant Inpatient and Outpatient Rotations
The interview date for this role is Monday 23rd February 2026.
This is a part time 33 hour role fixed term until 30th September 2027.
An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a highly motivated and flexible person to join our physiotherapyteam as a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant. Assistant or healthcare experiencewould be ideal although not essential. The opportunity will allow staff to workacross mainly inpatient ward areas, however on occasions may be required toreach out into the community and gym class cover.
The physiotherapy team isproactive in providing a holistic service, working within themulti-disciplinary team to ensure our patients receive high qualityintervention, achieve their rehabilitation goals and are safely discharged in atimely manner.
Good communication and timemanagement are required to work within a busy inpatient environment across avariety of settings. Training and a competency package are included in therole.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for implementing therapy programs delegated bythe Physiotherapist to aid the rehabilitation ofpatient.
You will carry your own caseload supervised or unsupervised and treatpatients according to set protocols monitoring patients progress and reportingback any changes to the appropriate Therapist.
You will be responsible for clinically relevant administrative duties inBHNFT or the community to ensure smooth service delivery.
Youwill experience a comprehensive induction process and have access to learningopportunities and development.

The successfulapplicant will have excellent team working skills andpossess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaborativelywith colleagues and patients, as well as being able to work alone.
Flexibilityof working times and practice is essential which will include 7 day working,weekend working.
