What You’ll Do
As a Team Leader within the Business Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your day‑to‑day will include:
* Overseeing and reviewing management accounts and statutory accounts for UK and multinational companies, providing expert guidance and support
* Providing insightful advice on VAT and PAYE matters, including meticulous review of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns
* Assisting start‑ups comprehensively in their financial journey, offering crucial financial support and guidance
* Leading the implementation of cutting‑edge accounting and computerised financial systems
* Managing UK financial reporting for various entities, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
* Fostering the growth of your team through training, reviews, and mentorship
* Offering expert advice on a wide range of business subjects, strengthening client relationships
What We’re Looking For
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Recent obtainment of an accountancy qualification with comprehensive knowledge of management accounting and statutory accounting
* Team player that values collective success and contributes positively to the overall work environment
* Professionalism and unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in all endeavors
* Ability to delegate tasks and guide junior staff, empowering them to reach their full potential
