Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities and implement care plans tailored to their individual needs. Your contribution will help enhance the quality of life for those you care for.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Help prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of client care plans and daily activities.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation accurately.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.

Pay: £12.21-£13.15 per hour
