Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in the Wellingborough area who are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support students across KS3 and KS4, both in class and through small group work
2. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
3. Provide targeted support to students with additional learning needs or EHCPs
4. Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Experience working with young people (ideally in a school setting)
A patient, proactive and positive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)
A relevant qualification (. CACHE Level 2/3, degree, or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.
