Our client, a leading firm in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join their dynamic Development Management Implementation (DMI) team. This is a permanent role providing technical support across various planning and development-led transport projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide technical support on the delivery of highways and transport planning projects\nAssist in developing and implementing highway schemes for public sector clients and private developers\nSupport the preparation and/or review of Transport Assessments and related planning documents\nProvide pre-application advice to developers on highways and transport planning matters\nEngage collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes\nContribute to the continuous improvement and success of the DMI team service function\nWork flexibly with the option of a hybrid office/remote working arrangement\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in a highway design or transport planning environment\nProficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD\nExperience preparing or reviewing Transport Assessments and related reports (beneficial but not essential)\nExperience providing pre-application advice (beneficial but not essential)\nEnthusiastic, diligent, and eager to learn with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach\nAbility to deliver work accurately and on time\nHNC, HND, Degree, or Masters in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline\nDesirable to be a member of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, CIHT)\n\nBenefits:\n\nOpportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nSupportive and collaborative work environment\nFlexible working arrangements\nComprehensive employee benefits package\nIf you are a motivated Traffic Engineer looking for a new opportunity to further develop your career, we would love to hear from you.
