Where will you be working?
At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. Our role will join BES – which provides a fully‑integrated service to clients within the pharmaceutical, life sciences and healthcare sectors, using our expertise to develop bespoke solutions to meet each client’s project‑specific requirements. We combine design, digital innovation and construction capabilities to provide a complete multidisciplinary offering, including process engineering, structural and civil, architectural, mechanical/HVAC and electrical services.
What will you be doing?
* Responsible for all electrical site activities in partnership with the Construction Manager and Principal Electrical Engineer.
* Assess and sign off subcontractor RAMS.
* Monitor quality and standards of work on site, complete Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and QA related company standard Pro‑Formas.
* Supervise all electrical subcontractors day‑to‑day activities, monitor progress in line with programme, deal with day‑to‑day site issues, snagging and review quality of installations.
* Input weekly site progress reports.
* Assess buildability of installation design and provide proactive solutions where required.
* Assess Compensation Events / Variations and check measured works to assist quantity surveyors against subcontractor applications.
* Coordinate and liaise closely with other trades where necessary.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience supervising turnkey electrical projects.
* Experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare markets is preferred.
* Ability to assess and spot check electrical test certificates.
* Client‑focused and able to establish good working relationships.
* Proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude towards progressing works and completing in line with programme.
* Ability to manage subcontractors on small and large projects.
* HNC or other Electrical Qualifications.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
* AM2 Certification of Electrotechnical Occupational Competence.
* City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology.
* City & Guilds 2394/2395 Initial Verification & Periodic Inspection.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
