Financial AccountantPertemps are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a growing distribution business based in Andover. This is a full time, permanent position.Responsibilities:- Multiple bank reconciliations in multi currencies- Maintaining nominal ledgers on Xero- Management accounts preparation with accruals, prepayments and depreciation journals- Posting and management of stock purchases- Goods in transit- Oversee Credit control with intervention where required- Managing the integration of the stock control system to Xero with monthly COS adjustments, stock write off etc.- Bank payments and payment run preparation- Weekly Cash flow forecasting and management- VAT return preparation, with PVA statements, adjustments- Payroll preparation from start to finished and submission to HMRC- Pension submissions and management via payroll and portal- Annual accounts preparation and liaison with external accountants- Interaction with HMRCRequirments:- a minimum of 3 years within an accounts position- Previous experience within a SME- Strong knowledge of Xero- Microsoft proficient- Accountancy qualification at AAT and aboveThe Financial Accountant position:- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm- £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience- Staff discountIf you are interested in this Financial Accountant position, please apply below with an up-to-date CV or give Jemma a call at Pertemps.
