About the apprenticeship
Duties
Has a driving licence and has access to transport.
Will be a great sporting role-model for children.
Can organise and run safe and enjoyable activities.
Will be able to support our staff in the delivery of physical activity.
Can support organisation of and co-ordination of sport and fitness events.
Have a ‘physical literacy’ approach, making sure that pupils are safe, happy and enjoying developing new skills.
Additional information
As part of this Apprenticeship, the successful candidate will undertake a structured training programme that includes:
On-the-job training – gaining practical experience within a the setting.
Off-the-job training – attending sessions covering safeguarding, behaviour management and learning strategies.
Regular assessments and feedback to track progress and improve skills.
Additional learning support, particularly in literacy, numeracy and communication.

Apprenticeships To Be Undertaken:
Level 3Level 2 sport coaching qualification or equivalent.
Strong sporting background.
Experience of coaching/working with children.
