Head of Sales Technology and Operations Job Description: We're looking for a forward-thinking leader to shape the future of sales technology at Sage. In this role, you'll lead the strategy and execution of our global revenue and go-to-market (GTM) tech stack. You'll manage a talented team of Field Sales Automation Managers and Product Owners, working across platforms like Salesforce, Clari, Highspot, Outreach, and more. Your mission? To drive efficiency, boost adoption, and simplify the sales experience - all while supporting our digital enablement journey. This is a high-visibility role where you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Sales, Success, RevOps, Enablement, and IT. You'll be the go-to expert for aligning technology with commercial strategy, and you'll play a key role in helping Sage scale smarter. Location: Newcastle (hybrid, 3 days/week in the office), international travel expected. Key Responsibilities: What You'll Own - Define and lead the multi-year GTM systems strategy, aligning Salesforce and other tools to support global growth and digital selling. - Partner with cross-functional leaders to connect platform capabilities with sales motions, customer journeys, and commercial models. - Lead a team of product owners across core platforms (Clari, Highspot, LISN, Outreach, etc.), ensuring consistent delivery and stakeholder engagement. - Oversee demand intake and prioritisation, tying tech decisions to business goals and measurable outcomes. - Build scalable governance and support models for Salesforce and GTM tools - including training, support, and escalation handling. - Drive adoption and value realisation across the field, working closely with Enablement and Change Management teams. - Champion user-friendly design and simplify the seller experience across platforms. - Own key performance metrics like adoption, usability, and satisfaction - and report progress to executive stakeholders. - Promote process standardisation and optimisation to improve sales operations and drive efficiency. - Use data and feedback to continuously improve our tech stack and inform future strategy.
