Overview
We are now looking for a Teacher of Maths to join our team. As we look to build on the impressive improvements we have already made and you will need to have the skills and knowledge to teach across KS3 and KS4 and a good understanding of the current curriculum.

* The Department for Education (DfE) has set out statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' for schools and colleges on safeguarding
* Safeguarding is defined in paragraph 4 as: "Protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children's health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes."
Requirements
* Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with a good understanding of the current curriculum
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
* Ability to assess learning to inform planning and teaching
* Commitment to achieving high standards in teaching, learning and student conduct
