As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and committed Solicitor to join our award‑winning Conveyancing Team on a full-time basis. At Bell Lamb & Joynson, our conveyancing team plays a key role in supporting clients through every stage of the home‑moving process, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.
The role is initially office‑based moving to hybrid on completion of probation. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on and collaborative in nature and demonstrate the high level of service we provide. They will have excellent communication skills, strong people-focused abilities, and the confidence to guide clients clearly and professionally through their transaction.
We are a naturally agile firm and welcome applications for any of office locations - Runcorn, Liverpool, Maghull, Walton Vale, Ashton-in Makerfield, Warrington.
What you will do in your working day
Manage caseloads efficiently, accurately, and in line with timelines and regulatory requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and colleagues, building strong, trusted relationships.
Maintain excellent standards of quality, compliance and file management.
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
Resolve issues promptly using good judgement and a proactive approach.
Look for ways to improve processes to improve the client experience
Provide confident, steady leadership with your assistant and colleagues, helping create a productive working environment.
The role requires the following:
Qualified Solicitor, CLC Conveyancing Licence, or Fellow of CILEx (FCILEx)
Part-qualified candidates actively working towards the above qualifications will also be considered.
5 years' residential conveyancing experience
Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing.
Calm, confident, and professional manner.
Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and high‑quality work.
