Overview: Flogas is powered by people who want to do energy right by customers in homes and businesses across the country. As a Yard Hand/Filling Operative at a depot, you’ll help keep our delivery drivers on the move and our customers connected to the energy they need. You’ll be involved in filling LPG cylinders, loading cylinders onto vehicles and trailers, and supervising the filling of bulk vessels, with safety as the top priority.
Responsibilities:
* Fill LPG cylinders and load them onto vehicles and trailers
* Supervise the filling of bulk vessels
* Support the delivery team to keep operations running smoothly
* Prioritize safety and protect the wellbeing of colleagues and customers
What we’ll need from you:
* Lots of team spirit, initiative, and the ability to multi-task to ensure efficiency and safety
* Ability to handle heavy cylinders
* A commitment to health, safety and wellbeing
* Reliable, flexible and cooperative approach with clear communication with teammates and customers
* Experience with safe handling and storage of dangerous goods and a counterbalance forklift truck licence is ideal, but training can be provided
* A full driving licence is desirable but not essential
