An internationally recognised FMCG business is seeking a commercially focused Procurement Manager to take ownership of strategic third-party manufacturing partnerships across the EMEA region. This high-impact role is responsible for delivering commercial value and operational excellence through the sourcing, negotiation, and management of outsourced finished goods – supporting new product development, supplier optimisation, and long-term vendor strategy. Working across a diverse product portfolio, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Planning, Quality, Technical, and Commercial to drive innovation, cost control, and supplier performance. Key Responsibilities : Contract Manufacturing & Vendor Management Lead commercial negotiations with 3rd party manufacturers pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and service levels Manage a strategic vendor portfolio across multiple categories and geographies Drive supplier performance in line with cost, ESG, and OTIF targets New Product Development Support Own the outsourcing process for NPDs including briefing, tendering, analysis, and supplier selection Ensure capacity readiness with suppliers for new launches Commercial Governance & Process Excellence Maintain open-book costing models and purchase price variance tracking Develop, negotiate, and update legal supply agreements across the EMEA region Identify and qualify new suppliers to meet evolving business needs Key Requirements: ✔ Proven experience in procurement within FMCG or Retail, ideally in outsourced manufacturing. ✔ Strong background in vendor management and cost negotiation ✔ Exposure to new product development and cross-functional project delivery ✔ Fluent in English and German (essential C1 level) ✔ Strong SAP and Excel skills; comfortable handling commercial and supply chain data ✔ Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills ✔ Financially literate with high commercial awareness Interview Process: Stage 1: Functional & Technical Interview A deep dive into procurement capability, experience, and commercial mindset Stage 2: Case Study, Culture & Values Interview Presentation/task and discussion with senior stakeholders to assess collaboration style, strategic thinking, and cultural fit People are at the heart of everything we do.
