Job summary
Hilton PCN has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and innovative pharmacy technician to join our primary care network on a part-time basis for 32 hours per week.
The role involves developing our prescribing systems to ensure safe, effective, and efficient prescribing within the practice and supporting reception and admin teams with complex medication queries.
Main duties include supporting GP partners on prescribing projects and conducting cost/safety audits and actions.
The successful candidate will benefit from this unique opportunity to build strong working relationships across our organization and will be actively involved in the evolution of their role.

Serving approximately 33,000 patients across Ampthill and Barton-Le-Clay, Hilton PCN strives to develop collaborative working across three member practices, aiming to support and strengthen primary care services in line with the NHS Long-term Plan. We aim to achieve high standards of patient-centered care tailored to our population’s needs while supporting a resilient and well-trained workforce. We operate the SystmOne clinical system with a strong record of QOF achievement and a CQC rating of 'Good'. Our team includes a paramedic, three clinical pharmacists, a care coordinator, a social prescriber, two first contact physiotherapists, and a primary care network manager. We are recruiting for additional roles to support the network's future.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential):
* Qualified and registered pharmacy technician with GPhC and a Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
* Strong experience in community pharmacy or primary care, confident in analyzing and presenting information to health professionals, with experience in implementing cost-effective strategies.
* Ability to interpret complex clinical information and present it appropriately to diverse audiences.
