Marketing Effectiveness Analyst
Manchester (hybrid – 3 days in the office)
A consumer brand is investing heavily in how it measures and improves marketing performance, and they’re looking for a Marketing Effectiveness Analyst to take ownership of turning insight into action.
This role sits at the heart of marketing, working across paid, offline and digital channels to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where budget should go next. They’ve recently introduced a new MMM approach, and now need someone who can interpret the outputs, challenge thinking and drive better decisions.
It’s not about building models; it’s about using them properly.

The role
You’ll act as the link between marketing, data and commercial decision-making, making sure performance insights are actually used.
* Interpreting MMM outputs and turning them into clear, practical recommendations
* Assessing performance across channels, from PPC through to TV and offline
* Looking at short-term vs long-term impact and how spend influences both
* Supporting budget allocation and optimisation decisions
* Tracking performance against forecasts and identifying areas to improve
* Working closely with channel owners and senior marketing stakeholders to influence direction
* Using dashboards and optimisation tools to monitor performance and spot opportunities
Key things they’re looking for:
* Experience working with MMM (Marketing Mix Modelling)
* Ability to turn data into clear actions, not just reports
* Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with stakeholders
* Understanding of marketing performance across multiple channels
Nice to have:
* Experience working with external MMM outputs
* Exposure to SQL or Google Analytics
* Experience with optimisation or attribution tools
