What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
1. Maintaining the delivery of independent inspection, surveillance and concurrence of nuclear work on facilities, plant, equipment and nuclear support services, on-board and on-site
\n
2. Evaluating the nuclear and radiological safety and security performance against the requirements of relevant legislation to assess the business’ level of compliance
\n
3. Supervised inspection and assessment to progress the submarine build and projects in the Site Redevelopment Programme to next stage through the ‘Hold Point Control’ process
\n
4. Communicating the conclusions of inspections and their findings to various stakeholders at all levels, including external regulators, board members, senior managers and business peers
\n
5. Supporting the independent assessment of the business’ emergency arrangements exercises and providing feedback to those developing and maintaining the arrangements
