I am looking for a personal assistant (PA) to support me at sport tournaments, including traveling with me and generally helping me prepare for my sports activities. I am a nearly 40‑year‑old, very active wheelchair user with a neuromuscular condition. I suffered a spinal injury in my cervical spine during a wheelchair rugby accident in July 2025.
Responsibilities
* Assist with medication prompting and administration.
* Provide general support during tournaments, including traveling and staying away for the weekend (accommodation is paid for).
* Help with dressing, undressing, and bathroom assistance.
* Assist with loading and unloading my wheelchair from the car.
* Help tape my hands for wheelchair rugby.
* Support me in preparing for sports activities.
Requirements

* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties.
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

* Comprehensive knowledge of high standards of health & safety.
* Preferably someone who enjoys sports or is comfortable in sports halls/ice rinks.
