MYM Recruitment are working with our client Pharmacy Supplies Ltd (PSL) who is a leading wholesale distributor serving the pharmacy, health, and beauty sectors across the UK and Ireland. PSL also has a Own Brand Division which has 4 brands including bbold. Approximately 65% of this role will be dedicated to PSL Own Brand. Together, they deliver innovative marketing, brand, and commercial initiatives while supporting over 1,800 pharmacy partners with tailored procurement, sales, and logistics solutions. Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior role within the marketing team at Pharmacy Supplies Ltd. As Head of Marketing, you will define and execute the strategic direction for both PSLs own brand and distribution brand initiatives across all channels, leading a cross-functional team to develop and implement innovative strategies that enhance brand identity, increase awareness, and strengthen consumer acquisition. A key focus will be leading the marketing strategy across both own brand and distribution brands, balancing long-term brand building with commercial performance and promotional activity. You will oversee the own brand marketing team, manage budgets, and ensure all marketing campaigns are aligned with the commercial plan and executed effectively. You will also lead strategies to drive online sales, ensuring creators and marketing spend are optimised to maximise growth and ROI. You will take the lead on PSLs digital and print marketing, including social media channels, the monthly digital brochure, and the RDS Tradeshow, driving engagement and sales. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on PSLs brand presence, commercial success, and commercial success. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Product development: Monitor and report brand, category, and product performance, utilising analytics to inform future strategy, calendars and provide insight to senior management team. Ensure product development aligns with customer demand, managing timelines and planning launches around key commercial trading periods to maximise impact. Collaborate with the Regulatory Compliance and Product Quality teams to ensure all products meet industry regulations, quality standards, and brand expectations. Overall Marketing Strategy & Leadership Develop, own, and manage the overall marketing strategy for own brand, ensuring alignment with company objectives, brand vision, and commercial goals. Lead a cross-functional marketing team, providing direction and oversight across product development, social media, digital marketing, and brand initiatives. Work closely with internal teams, including design, to ensure all marketing materials are cohesive, on-brand, and effectively communicate the desired message. Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance, providing actionable insights to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement. Social Media & Content Strategy Lead the development and delivery of the Marketing Strategy across all PSL Own Brand business, ensuring campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn support company objectives. Provide strategic direction to the social media team to ensure campaigns and content reinforce wider brand and commercial goals. Oversee the creation of compelling, high-quality content for social media and broader marketing campaigns, ensuring relevance to target audiences and consistency in brand tone, style, and messaging. Monitor performance analytics and insights, using data to refine strategies, optimise engagement, and improve results. Manage the brand budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively to support brand strategy and drive growth. Digital Marketing & Online Sales Oversee the strategy for online sales channels, including TikTok, email, Amazon, and the bbold website, ensuring alignment with the commercial plan. Track and manage budgets for digital initiatives, measuring impact and optimising spend to maximise sales and ROI. Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Supplies Limited Commercial & Marketing Strategy Develop, own, and manage the overall marketing strategy for PSL, ensuring alignment across print & digital brochure, email marketing, social media and the wider commercial strategy. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to provide staff with the marketing tools and presentations needed to effectively drive sales. Work closely with key brands to ensure key campaigns are shared with PSL and strategy is relevant to Irish Pharmacy. Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, social media content, and digital engagement. Digital Development: Lead the strategy and execution for the launch of a new digital ordering app, driving strong customer uptake and seamless user experience. Take ownership of the PSL monthly e-brochure, ensuring it is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and customer-friendly and transition customers to order through the monthly e-brochure or app. Monitor performance and report back to senior management. Collaborate with the design team to ensure the brochures layout is on-brand, visually striking, and effectively showcases products. RDS Tradeshow Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of PSLs presence at the RDS Tradeshow in May. Work with internal and external teams to create attractive offers tailored for tradeshow attendees. Ensure the stand is visually impactful, professional, and represents PSLs brand values. Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and set-up to deliver a seamless customer experience. Social Media Management: Manage the Pharmacy Supplies presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, ensuring the social media strategy aligns with the commercial plan and that key campaigns and promotions effectively reach Irish Pharmacies. Monitor performance and report back to senior management. Essential Criteria: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field 57 years senior marketing experience, ideally in pharmacy, health, beauty, or retail sectors, with proven leadership of high-performing teams. Strong strategic and commercial mindset, capable of driving brand growth, awareness, and sales through innovative marketing initiatives. Deep expertise in consumer insight, market research, and trend forecasting, turning data into actionable strategies. Hands-on experience leading digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, and multi-channel campaigns. Exceptional project and people management skills, able to prioritise and deliver multiple initiatives on time and to budget. Track record of successful collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and brand partners to deliver cohesive campaigns. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, influencing at all levels. Creative thinker with a strong eye for design, detail, and brand consistency. Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, digital platforms, and social media management software. Experience planning and executing events, tradeshows, or experiential marketing campaigns is a plus. Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
