We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our dynamic medical services postal team. With a proven NHS background, we are committed to providing excellent service to our customers for over 30 years.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sort post received from GPs and hospitals into pigeonholes and prepare bags for surgeries in the morning.
2. Deliver bags using MTS during the day.
3. Handle franking of post from DHC sites for collection by the MTS driving team.
4. Maintain, sort, and collate post.
5. Operate the franking machine to a high standard without supervision.
6. Report for duty as scheduled and escalate any issues to the Head of Dorset Post.
7. Complete daily checks on the post room vehicle and report any defects.
8. Drive the post room vehicle when required within the Dorset Health Care area.
9. Keep the office clean and tidy daily.
10. Maintain journey records accurately and submit as required.
11. Undertake any other duties as directed by the Head of Dorset Post.
12. Ensure compliance with Road Traffic regulations while driving.
13. Promote equality and diversity.
