Air Quality Specialist role at Arup.

Responsibilities
* Deliver air quality projects as part of a multidisciplinary team or as standalone assignments.
* Provide high-quality technical consultancy and advisory support to clients.
* Contribute to project delivery on time and to budget; prepare technical air quality assessments and reports.
* Support business development and preparation of technical proposals to win new work.
* Apply knowledge of atmospheric dispersion modelling, infrastructure planning, industrial air pollution and air quality monitoring as relevant to projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject.
* Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM). Working towards chartership (CEnv) is desirable.
* Demonstrable track record delivering air quality assessments; proficient in air quality dispersion software (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD) and GIS tools.
* Knowledge/experience of air quality monitoring techniques (automatic and passive).
* Full UK/EU driving licence.
* Interest in using digital tools (e.g., Python) and ability to interpret/visualise data (OpenAir, PowerBI). Desirable: odour and carbon assessments.
Location
Based in one of: London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Birmingham or Leeds offices, UK. The role has a national remit across Arup’s UK offices.
