Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence Analyst within our Business Intelligence team based at Headquarters in Sheffield.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist, professional, and technical advice, direction, and input across a range of activities and resources to deliver business intelligence.
* Use a wide range of software tools, such as Geographical Information Systems and Business Intelligence Reporting Tools, such as Power‑BI, to enable users to view complex information in an easy‑to‑use format.
* Apply the principles and concepts of trend analysis and data identification to influence decision‑making and negotiate outcomes.
* Communicate confidently to management at all levels, advising on data and intelligence strategies.
* Deliver training and presentations to individuals and groups, ensuring understanding of data collection and interpretation.
* Provide data quality oversight, ensuring reports, performance measures, and systems meet Data Protection and GDPR legislation.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in business intelligence analysis and use of GIS and BI tools, such as Power‑BI.
* Strong working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present to senior management.
* Experience delivering training and presentations.
* Knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR legislation.

New starters will commence on the bottom of the salary grade and will receive increases to the top of the grade on an incremental basis.
