Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year Requirements: Degree in a relevant subject matter or equivalent industry experience Skilled in conducting Automotive usability studies and user testing Proficiency in common research tools Knowledge of user-centred design and interaction Experienced 3D artist with expert knowledge of 3D tools & Animation Ability to convert design visions into working developed models Previous experience as a games developer is desirable Proficient in Figma & Adobe suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects Experience working as a UI Designer with animation skills in After Effects Background within automotive UX or human machine interaction Passionate designer and animator with experience of bringing visuals to life Understanding of Automotive UX constraints Full UK driving licence Responsibilities: Plan and execute UX testing activities across vehicles, simulators, and digital prototypes Plan, run, and analyse research Work closely with designers and product teams to define research needs and translate findings into clear recommendations Record and communicate findings from user studies Contribute to the creation of benchmarking and user profiles Collaborate with software and design teams, acting as the go-between to realise the creative vision Create models suitable for real-time animation and usage, as well as highly polished visual renders for use in various applications Act as the UI champion, promoting good design practices and educating where possible Technologies: 3D Figma Support UX UI Design More: We are one of the worlds largest automotive manufacturers, currently recruiting a number of Automotive UX Engineers, Researchers, UI Designers, and Animators to help us develop unique and innovative vehicles.
