Full-time: 37 hours per week
Can be worked over 4 or 5 days per week (flexibility with shifts starting earlier and finishing at 6pm)
About this role
As a Creative Artworker & Digital Pre-press Technician for the University of Chichester, you will help deliver a customer-focused and professional Print and Imaging Service by keeping your skills up-to-date with the latest development in desktop publishing, safeguarding the University brand and making sure our clients receive a positive customer experience.
This role will involve checking customer artwork meets production specifications, preparing the artwork for production, creating artwork from specifications, liaising with a range of clients to ensure their needs are met and producing/finishing digital print jobs to an exceptionally high standard.
You will be a University ambassador during all client engagements and will ensure our highly respected profile, both internally and externally, is maintained throughout by providing first class customer service and expert advice.
About you
The appointed postholder will have design skills and be capable of fast preparation of print ready files supplied by internal and external clients. You will have experience of working in a digital print environment, a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer service.
About the team
Based at the Bognor Regis Campus, Print and Imaging is a small, committed team within the wider Students, Support and Information Services team, dedicated to enhancing the student experience as well as providing an excellent service through an external-facing print service.
