Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor in Speke, Merseyside to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our client premises. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues adhere to their duties with a high level of professionalism and security presence.
Shift pattern
You will work 56 hours per week, 3 days on, 3 nights, and 3 days off in a rotation (0600–1800).

What you will need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
* 2 Years Minimum Supervisor Experience - essential.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
* Able to attend shifts using own transport.
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What you will do
* Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team completes tasks and adheres to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies.
* Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to security breaches/incidents; ensure escalation processes are followed.
* Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching and development, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
* Submit required reports and performance documentation to appropriate departments.
* Monitor site staff and contractors, including control of contractors, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies.
* Regularly inspect security equipment (CCTV, access control, alarms) and ensure proper functioning.
* Investigate incidents and breaches; prepare comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
* Ensure effective cross-department communication and integrate security measures into operations, events, facility management, and safety for all on site.
* Achieve Corps Security KPI targets and assist with investigations of non-conformance.
* Ad-hoc duties as required.
