Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Infection Prevention and Control Team in light of the new Elective hub and requiring admin for our surveillance system ICNet. We require a Band 4 surveillance assistant to work predominately on the Winchester site but there will be some cross site working especially whilst learning the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an infection surveillance service, encompassing all aspects of the healthcare-associated infection surveillance programme including ward-based surveillance.
* Supply required data to Public Health England and act as a contact point for the agency to feedback comparative data.
* Assist with reporting mechanisms to boards, including Divisional Governance and the Infection Prevention and Control Committee.
* Perform administrative duties on the Infection control surveillance system ICNet.
