Main Responsibilities
* Supervise the Meetings and Events department in executing daily business.
* Assist with training and developing non-matchday and matchday staff.
* Maintain the standards of Meetings and Events.
* Ensure all areas of the Meetings and Events facility are clean and presentable.
* Ensure the preparation of all function areas, quality of service, and hygiene standards conform to company standards.
* Set up all Meetings and Events functions correctly, maintaining high standards.
* Complete preparatory work for all events in a timely manner.
* Be aware of specifics of each function, such as timings and food service details.
* Have thorough knowledge of dishes served and be able to provide information to customers.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
* Experience supervising in a large operation with high-volume meetings and events.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of recruiting, training, managing, and motivating staff.
* Experience front of house, with various concepts and service styles.
Desirable:
* Experience in sports/stadia environments.
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
* Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
