Project Assistant – Job Description
Role Overview
We're looking for a reliable and organised Project Assistant to help keep showroom fitout & refit projects on track and teams aligned. You'll support day-to-day operations, coordinate with internal departments and external partners, and ensure key systems like Business Central and are up to date. This role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who's comfortable juggling tasks, communicating clearly, and stepping in wherever support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Systems Support
* Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple projects
* Maintain and update records using platforms such as Business Central (BC) and
* Assist with data entry, reporting, and document management
* Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
* Support procurement and invoice tracking processes
· Assist with maintaining and updating showroom maps using CAD
Communication & Coordination
* Act as a liaison between internal departments, external contractors, and key stakeholders
* Ensure timely and professional communication across all channels
* Follow up on action items and ensure deliverables are met
* Help manage project timelines and flag potential delays or issues
· Build in-depth knowledge of Quorn Stone's full product range, including specifications, applications, and installation techniques
Project Support
* Assist in preparing project documentation, proposals, and presentations
* Provide practical, hands on support throughout the project, from initial planning stages through to practical on site support and post-project tasks
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with particular attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Previous experience in a project support or coordination role
* Understanding of basic project management principles
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g.,, MS Teams, SharePoint)
* Experience using ERP systems like Business Central (BC)
Travel Requirements
* Periodic travel to project sites
* Some overnight stays will be necessary depending on project demands
* Travel expenses will be covered in accordance with company policy
