We have an exciting opportunity for inspirational and motivated midwives to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 37 hours within Raigmore Maternity Unit, covering all aspects of midwifery care, with a rotating schedule including days/nights and weekends. Part-time hours will also be considered.
The post holder will be a registered Midwife on the NMC Register, educated to degree level or equivalent, with relevant clinical experience. Responsibilities include providing safe, effective, person-centred care with a trauma-informed focus, in line with NHS Highland policies, statutory requirements, and NMC standards.
The successful candidate should communicate effectively, participate in quality improvement and assurance, and manage resources efficiently. Their clinical expertise will support junior team members in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized clinical care within their remit, utilizing expert clinical skills and judgment.
