Transport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department including the operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required.
Our duties will vary depending on what’s required on the day so being flexible is an important skill to have.
About the role
Transport Operations Clerks support the transport operations team in daily activities such as processing paperwork for drivers, coordinating departure routes, collecting Tachograph reports, debriefing drivers and handling any operational challenges that arise.
Responsibilities
* Provide drivers with necessary paperwork and documentation.
* Support route departures and ensure smooth operations.
* Gather Tachograph reports and maintain accurate records.
* Debrief drivers and address any operational issues.
* Provide general support to the Transport Operations Team.
Qualifications
* Experience with HGV drivers or similar transport roles is ideal. Transferable skills will also be considered.
