Role: Regional Director
As a Regional Director, you will serve as an ambassador in your city, mobilizing communities to contact their government in support of poverty reduction legislation. No lobbying experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Meet with local government leaders and lobby for legislation that improves conditions for the poor.
2. Mobilize community members to support poverty reduction legislation.
3. Manage fundraising campaigns.
4. Build a network of engaged supporters.
5. Represent The Borgen Project locally.
Qualifications
1. Basic understanding of politics and international development.
2. Highly organized with good time management skills.
3. Team player with innovative ideas.
4. Decisive and able to exercise independent judgment.
5. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
