We’re seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our Technology Delivery & Advice team. This key role involves co-creating technology solutions that support our digital projects, ensuring they are sustainable, secure, and aligned with the University's long-term goals.
You will collaborate with various university departments to understand their needs, guide decisions, and develop meaningful solutions. Additionally, you will help establish our shared architecture standards, fostering a consistent, scalable, and user-centered approach across our technology landscape.

We welcome candidates with both technical expertise and a strong sense of purpose. You should have:
1. Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using SaaS, PaaS, COTS, and custom applications.
2. Practical experience with integration patterns, cloud architecture, data flow, security, and resilience.
3. Knowledge of a broad technology landscape, including cloud services, off-the-shelf systems, and custom solutions.
4. A people-focused approach to technology—comfortable with listening, engaging, and designing.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable architectures and solutions.
6. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
7. Commitment to equity, accessibility, and inclusive design in digital services.
8. Interest in shaping architecture practices, with skills in architecture standards, design governance, or technology strategy.
Additional details
This is a full-time (36.5 hours/week), permanent position.
A market supplement of up to £8,000 may be offered based on skills and experience.
