Hours of Work: Part-time - minimum 20 hours per week over at least 3 days
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records across several companies within the Griggs group. Your day-to-day will involve recording and processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring precise financial management to keep our projects running smoothly. You will also support budgeting activities, manage project expenses, liaise with suppliers, and contribute to improving our financial processes—all within a collaborative and thriving office environment.
Finance Assistant Requirements:
Proven experience in a finance or bookkeeping support role—ideally within construction, property, or related sectors.
Familiarity with accounting software (preferably Xero) and strong Excel skills, with the ability to produce accurate, well-presented reports.
A basic understanding of accounting principles and good working knowledge of financial statements.
Exceptional organisational skills, an eagle eye for detail, and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Finance Assistant Benefits:
