About The Role
As a credit controller in our team, you will handle your own portfolio of customers, building and nurturing strong relationships.
Effective communication over the phone and email will ensure you represent our company professionally. Your main responsibilities include chasing overdue debt and handling inbound queries, so customer focus is essential. Your key contacts will be customers, internal stakeholders such as account managers, and other business departments.
Ultimately, you will aim to reduce debtor days, prevent legal escalations, and resolve queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively manage both due and overdue debts, resolving queries effectively
* Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and agencies
* Take ownership of your allocated ledger
* Improve the percentage of debts paid on time
* Reduce aged debt effectively
* Escalate accounts according to agreed collection procedures
* Process credit card payments as required
* Participate in monthly debt conference calls with stakeholders
