We are looking to recruit a part qualified accountant who could work from our King’s Lynn office. Ideally you will be fully AAT qualified but could be qualified by experience or ACA/ACCA part qualified.

Overview
As a Practice Accountant, you will be exposed to a wide variety of accounting and tax areas. For example, accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships, audits, tax computations and tax returns, VAT returns, CIS returns, etc. Additionally, you will help mentor the junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts preparation for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities
* Supporting clients in accounting and taxation issues
* Assisting with audit assignments
* Preparation of management accounts including the preparation of budgets, cashflow forecasts
* Bookkeeping for clients and preparation of related VAT returns
* Working as part of a team to carry out additional client and in-house projects as required
* Assisting clients with systems development and improvement
* Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
* Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to provide expert advice to clients
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
* Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential issues
Skills & Experience
* AAT Qualified or qualified by experience / Part ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong IT skills with experience using Xero, Sage, Quickbooks and IRIS preferrable
* Proven experience in client handling
* A strong work ethic with commitment to delivering an excellent service
* A natural drive to ensure the value and integrity of the business is always upheld
* An ability to work to deadlines
